Analyzing Canon’s C-RAW Image File Format

Introduced along with the new .CR3 file format on the Canon EOS M50 was the new C-RAW image file format. The C-RAW files seemed like a much better option than the M-RAW and S-RAW options we previously had available and, with C-RAW files being about the same size as a high quality JPG file, I wanted to know what to expect from images captured in C-RAW. What started as a small task grew into a project, so I decided to share some of the results with you.
