First ever – This is a ruby tailed wasp – Chrysis ignita

About 4.5mm body length, too flighty to get a decent shot – it walks/runs quickly a takes off every two or three seconds. Never seen one in the garden before, and only ever seen one twice prior to this. However – it was on the stonechipping on the wall, not a plant – but you’ll know how small the stones are in that pebbledash stuff, so an indication of it’s actual size.

Not quite sharp – best I could do in the brief moment I had.
