Return of the microscaper

Good to see so many of the regulars still posting here. I’ve been so inactive for so long that I feel a bit strange posting again, but lately I’ve been finding such great light in the forest that I’ll share.

While this is macro by most modern standards, it isn’t extremely close. I do mostly microscapes and lately have been trying to incorporate dappled sunlight in my shots. It’s made me have to be quicker off the mark than ever before because the light changes in minutes or sometimes seconds. All part of the challenge. Or the torture. Depending on how you look at it.
