Soap opera in five parts

Soap bubbles with coloured refraction from card underneath. I used liquid hand-soap in warm water.

Although these images are highly processed in Photoshop CS6 they are also the result of some considerable effort in photographing them. The set-up is quite involved (see shot below) and I had difficult getting the bubbles and refractions from the coloured card right. Because the bubbles from the soap kept dissipating quickly I had to have a plastic tube in my mouth as I shot (no, I’m not posting that shot), the other end was in the water dish, so I could ‘blow bubbles’ as I shot them. I think it must be winter again!
