Underground Soul



In this video, photographer Chase Jarvis talks about his Seattle 100 Project, documenting the underground culture of the city, and the process of creating prints for the exhibition of the Project. Jarvis explains the importance of fine art printmaking: “The print ultimately is the actualization of of the original capture, of the original vision, so in some ways, it kinda completes the circle. You can have a digital file out there in the ether, but when you print it, your kind of locking it down, you’re saying, ‘This is my interpretation of it.'” Learn more.
