Weekly photography challenge

A post by: Darlene HildebrandtPPEarlier today I shared some images of cityscapes. That is designed to inspire you, make you say “wow” and want to get out there and the picture of your city./PPThis week I want to challenge you to shoot close to home. If you live in a city, you are all set! If you are in the country or smaller city, you should just be more creative or take a short drive away./PPYou will find that many of the images of cityscape in the collection were taken in the night. That’s when the city and the lights come to life and dance for the camera. Find the best location and angle to photograph your cityscape. Try to look up the buildings, high on a roof or balcony or standing up and looking down. Change your perspective make something different and striking./PPMaybe try some black and white photography or even some HDR of the skyline of the city. Go catch the same scene at different times of the day including: sunset, the blue hour (twilight), and after dark. Shoot wide and get the whole vista, and try some closer up and focus in on details. Here are a few pictures to give you more ideas:/PIMG alt=”” src=”http://www.photo-natural.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/wpid-38290932903c36078747z.jpg” width=”610″ height=”494″By joiseyshowaa/PIMG alt=”” src=”http://www.photo-natural.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/wpid-686756283702233b5218z.jpg” width=”610″ height=”401″By Chris SmithPIMG alt=”” src=”http://www.photo-natural.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/wpid-8662091067d68482de0az.jpg” width=”610″ height=”426″By Christopher/PIMG alt=”” src=”http://www.photo-natural.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/wpid-8615762590aebb042b33z.jpg” width=”610″ height=”426″By Pedro SzekelyPIMG alt=”” src=”http://www.photo-natural.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/wpid-86509031146b47f4b9dbz.jpg” width=”610″ height=”428″By Justin Brown/PIMG alt=”” src=”http://www.photo-natural.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/wpid-106499900351e9058dbccz.jpg” width=”610″ height=”556″By jesuscmPIMG alt=”” src=”http://www.photo-natural.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/wpid-457003218157f5d0640dz.jpg” width=”610″ height=”427″By Paolo Dacy_hsu/PIMG alt=”” src=”http://www.photo-natural.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/wpid-8309058736e52266d35cz.jpg” width=”610″ height=”428″By Pedro SzekelyPIMG alt=”” src=”http://www.photo-natural.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/wpid-68439782998cfcf68c8cz.jpg” width=”610″ height=”427″By Justin Brown/PIMG alt=”” src=”http://www.photo-natural.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/wpid-2865833414a1cbf0b538z.jpg” width=”610″ height=”640″By Be ZeroOnePIMG alt=”” src=”http://www.photo-natural.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/wpid-8798173679f9dbdc0d01z.jpg” width=”610″ height=”427″By Nathan Congleton/PIMG alt=”” src=”http://www.photo-natural.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/wpid-8019847837afc2be7c6az.jpg” width=”610″ height=”507″By Shawn HokePIMG alt=”” src=”http://www.photo-natural.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/wpid-5416969154621890e99dz.jpg” width=”610″ height=”288″By David Yu/PPSimply Upload your shot in the comment field (look at the small camera icon in the comments section Disqus as shown below) and they will get embedded for all of us to see or if you’d prefer to upload them to your favorite photo sharing site and leave the link to them./P
