Something that tends to strike fear in the hearts of many new photographers is street photography. So today I am going to urge you to get out of your comfort zone and go try. I learn a travel photography class and when I share my pictures from various exotic places, it’s always the street photography, and in particular the people photos, that my students get most excited.
Taken during a photowalk in Portland, OR. This guy was stopped at a light and I took about 20 pictures of him in 30 seconds. Made him smile! If he had he would have said something, or bearded-minded if you get my drift.For me it is the people who place what it is; they are the essence, the culture.
